В Соединенных Штатах Америки с 1976 года производятся желейные бобы под торговой маркой Jelly Belly . Сделаны они на основе фруктовых и ягодных пюре и имеют множество вкусов от традиционных вишни, лимона, винограда, яблока до экзотических корицы, граната, попкорна с маслом и т.д. После выхода популярных во всем мире книг о юном волшебнике Гарри Поттере, компания вдохновилась и создала серию конфет Гарри Поттера под торговой маркой Bertie Botts Beans . Помните, как в первом фильме, в поезде юный Гарри попробовал впервые конфеты, которые могли приобретать разные вкусы и не всегда приятные? Вот такие «волшебные» конфеты и выпустила компания Jelly Belly.
Конфеты Bean Boozled почему-то называют конфетами из мира волшебников. Но это не совсем так. Берти Ботс — вот это конфеты из мира волшебников Гарри Поттера и других. Бин Бузлд сделаны на основе этой идеи, но имеют коренные отличия от конфет Гарри Поттера.

В чем разница между конфетами Гарри Поттера и Bean Boozled.
Так вот, в конфетах Гарри Поттера КАЖДЫЙ цвет желейного боба имеет определенный вкус. Однозначно. Если зеленый, то это зеленое яблоко, если нежно-голубой — мыло. На коробке указаны соответствие цвета вкусу конфеты. Тот, кто достает конфету, всегда знает, что предлагает попробовать. Коварных опасайтесь!
А вот в конфетах Bean Boozled всё так, да не так. В этой серии желейных бобов ОДНОМУ цвету конфеты соответствуют ДВА вкуса — один приятный, второй, мягко говоря, не очень. Например, одному цвету соответствует пара таких вкусов: тухлое яйцо — попкорн с маслом. И никогда не знаешь, какой вкус попадется, до того момента, пока не раскусил конфету.
На этом основана популярность конфет Бин Бузлд — с ними устраивают челенджи, специально компания выпускает игру с рулеткой, чтобы сделать веселым времяпровождение с этими вкусно-гадкими конфетами. Дети очень любят угощать пап и мам, наблюдая за их реакцией и, конечно, ожидая, что попадется «гадкий» вкус.
