Не думал, что столько слов означает роскошь. Теперь более точно смогу подбирать слова при разговоре на английском. Класс.
Как пишется имя Ксения на английском?
Знаете, есть целая куча вариантов.
Если не нравится X в начале (она читается особым образом, неслучайно Xena в русском переводе стала Зеной), можно использовать вариант Ksenia. Он не такой «литературно-правильный», но вполне допустимый.
Как правильно писать российские фамилии, содержащие букву «х» по-английски — с «h» или «kh»?
С «kh». Но толкового объяснения нет, так исторически сложилось (переводчики поймут). Скажу только, что русский «х» и английский «h» — это два разных звука. Английскому звуку присуще понятие «аспирации» — такого легкого придыхания перед произнесением звука из грудной клетки (очень характерный элемент американского акцента). Русский же звук аспирации не имеет, и по идее на письме придыхание отсекается согласным «k».

Чем отличаются уровни английского языка?
A1 — Beginner — начальный уровень. Человек может представиться, задать элементарные вопросы и ответить на них. Понимает английскую речь, если собеседник говорит медленно и очень чётко. Читает небольшие тексты с короткими предложениями без сложных конструкций.
A2 — Elementary — продолжение начального уровня. Пользуясь им, можно рассказать о себе, узнать дорогу и объясниться в простых бытовых ситуациях. Можно прочитать и понять простое письмо на английском языке. Словарный запас — 1500-2000 слов.
B1 — Pre-intermediate — средний уровень владенья языком. С ним можно объяснитсья в большинстве ситуаций, которые возникают в туристической поездке по англоговорящим странам. Словарный запас — до 3200 слов.
B2 — Intermediate — средне-продвинутый уровень. На нём можно понять сложный текст, поддержать беседу по специальности и свободно общаться на отстранённые темы. Словарь до 3750 слов.
C1 — advanced — продвинутый уровень. На нём люди говорят свободно, без проблем с подбором слов и выражений, могут использовать язык в профессиональной деятельности. Хорошо ориентируются в сленге и идиомах. Словарь до 4500 слов.
C2 — Proficiency — владение в совершенстве. Человек понимает всё прочитанное и услышанное, свободно пишет грамотные структурированные тексты. Может говорить на любую тему без подготовки.
