Похоже я 1-ый. Речь идёт непонятно о каком Франкфурте — на Одере или Майне, но сути дела не меняет. Англичанам трагедия крушения империи понятна из собственного исторического опыта. Некоторые места проговариваются повторно речитативом в оригинале, но это неважно. Не знаю, может быть имело смысл чуть-чуть поменять концовку под оригинал:
Да, тот русский во Франкфурте.
